Halloween, Screenings and Shows, and 3G's
So, surprisingly, Better Hollywood, along with Ryan Graham of 37.5 Productions, won 1st prize in the Dogfish Head Short Film Competition. We got a bunch of goodies along with a 3,000 dollar prize and a spot in the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival. Much thanks to the folks at Dogfish Head for making some of the best and biggest beers in the universe and this great opportunity.
Also, Baltimore's famed MICROCINEFEST is returning this year! We also a landed a spot in the comedy shorts section of MCF2006 with "Fuck Pillows." MicroCineFest looks really good this year, so if you're in Baltimore, go to this and watch some awesome films sometime during November 9-12th. The 10pm Matthew Silver program on Saturday night should not be missed if you care about or have a penchant for funny, original, and downright awesome short films.
This Saturday, at the Hamilton Arts Collective, the Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad is doing a Halloween show along with Heroin UK, Stalking Horses, and General Miggs. 4 great Bands, only 5 dollars! And as always at the Hamilton Arts Collective, you're welcome to BYOB, and since it's a halloween show, costumes are encouraged! So come out and see us on Saturday and like the Cheetaz say, don't be no CO-CO-NUT!
