Video Jihad! and upcoming summer stuff

Video Jihad! is a filmmaking event that we are holding at the Creative Alliance in Baltimore. The idea is that we give you a 3-5 minute clip of video from some pre-existing source (a movie scene, a film trailer or any number of things) and then you bring it back to show and possibly win prizes. There will be Audience Choice Best and "Worst" prizes, and a Jury Best prize. The event is sponsored in part by Atomic Books and Creative Commons . So sign up if you're in the Baltimore area, or come to the screenings on June 10th.

Better Hollywood's "I'm So Bored That I Could Cry" and "Satan's Blood" are both playing at MD Film Festival May 12th and 13th. Come out to see them and/or any other of the great films playing at this annual festival. (And if you're smart you will seek out an awesome short film called "Nevel is the Devil". It's incredible I tell ya.)

Finally, Better Hollywood films "Fuck Pillows" "I'm So Bored That I Could Cry" and "Weekend Warrior" have all been accepted to this year's Hi Mom! Film Festival in Chapel Hill, NC. We are very excited to be invited back this year to what may be our favorite film festival. This year's festival is from June 15th-17th.
