First things first. If you are an artist in Baltimore and would like to book a show of ANY KIND, please contact the Hamilton Arts Collective immediately. This is a new freeform artspace in Baltimore that we want to see stay alive. Indeed.

In other news:

SXSW was a blast for me, Erica, and John. I ate a huge turkey leg, sprained my ankle, drank in a good many Austin bars, and saw some good movies.

John got his nipple abused:


Thanks to SXSW for having us it was a tremendous opportunity.

Backseat Film Festival awarded Better Hollywood with the "Filmmaker Appreciation Award." Coming from them that means alot. If Cecil B. Demented were a true story, then Doug Sakkman and his gang of unruly film outlaws would be it. Backseat truly embodies the spirit of an underground film festival more than any other that I've been to. No shit!

Finally, thanks to Jeff Mewbourn you can now download the Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad's Talking Head Show on Archive.org . Due to technical difficulties most of the first half of the show is kind of screwy, but hey it's free! Thank Jeff!

And in case you've made it down this far. The Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad will begin recording the new full length album this week. Stay tuned for all sorts of updates and maybe even a new track or two.
