End of the Year Update...

Sup...

It's been awhile since we've posted up here in awhile, but a lot has been going on. First off, let me congratulate my brother-from-a-different-mother, Nikc on successfully completing his college education, majoring in Electronic Media & Film. Now we have 2, count'em, 2 college graduates in the Better Hollywood posse. Now no one can tell us we ain't learn'd, well, with the exception of me, but I'm working on my college edjmacation into this coming new year thankfully and grade-wise doing surprisingly well in fact.

As 2005 comes to an end, we want to give thanks all the people who have supported us and worked with us during this highly successful year. Looking back, it seems insane to see all the things we've achieved in the last 12 months. Top honors at SXSW Click! and Hi Mom! Film Festival, being accepted to the Maryland Film Festival, the debut of "Livelihood", the Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad performing at various venues around Baltimore, Hondance!, and the list goes on and on. Pure insanity and nothing we could of ever expected. We thank you all for the support, patronage, and the good times.

We got shitloads, SHITLOADS prepared in 2006. We will be in attendance for the SXSW Film & Interactive conference this year and hope to make some friends out in Austin. Another installment of Hondance! is in development and we are also promoting a week-long friendly competitive event, "Culture Jihad!" involving the re-conceptualizing of copyrighted media for entertaining and enlightening results. Scripts are being written, productions are being planned, monies allocated, all that good shit on top of the greatness sundae that is going to be 2006.

New film posted for yo' asses, a NewageHillbilly music video called "Weekend Warrior."

Wish ya'll the best in 2006!

Bumper Stickers...

We wrapped up our shoot with WMJF-TV's "Towson Exposure" over the weekend and also pretty much wrapped two projects, "Satan's Blood" an experimental film by Nikc and "Full Circle" a short documentary on yarn spinners by Mike. We've also got new "Chunks" coming by the end of the week, so stay tuned for that.

PS We also made bumper stickers in true indie fashion, so watch out around town for stickers that list this website and say, "GOD BLESS EVERYONE EXCEPT FOR ASSHOLES."
