In July, Nikc got interviewed for Baltimore Interview and the piece has just been published on their website. Check out the link HERE. In my opinion, it's the best piece of press we've ever got.
In other news, the Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad performed a fantastic show at the Talking Head Club in Baltimore. We played along side NewAgeHillbilly and Bo Lee Da of MT6 Records and a very talented and awesome band out of DC called the Mosquito Death Squadron. Special thanks goes out to Jeff Mewbourn, one of DMFS' staunchest supporters who came in to tape the event. DMFS also videotaped the entire set, so soon you might see some more live performances posted to the CHUNKS PAGE.
We played a good bit of material from the upcoming DMFS album at the Talking Head show and the band is just about 80% done with the new album recording wise. We hope to start selling the album "like hotcakes" by the end of the year and avidly touring and promoting it also.
On the video front, as the last post says, the "PENIS REDUX" project is just about done with the principal photography and should be ready to premiere somewhere by the end of fall hopefully. It is by far, probably one of the funniest things we've ever done, the most expensive thing we've ever done, the most collaborative thing we've ever done, and the most technical thing we've ever done. Hopefully this will all add up into an entertaining 10 minute short.
