Hondance Redux Recap

We'd like to thank everyone that came out, volunteered, and performed at Hondance this last Saturday to indulge in films, music, and of course the 1/2 keg of Old Dominion Lager. We raised a considerable amount of money for the Top Floor Theatre and witnessed a top notch performance from the Degenerettes, a teaser for the "long-awaited & still waiting" feature length of Livelihood from the folks over at 37.5 Productions, & in my personal opinion, one of the funnest Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad shows ever performed. We'd like to thank Scott Alexander specifically though, for stepping up to fill in a last minute music performance cancellation. You saved all our asses many times over. A special Better Hollywood "Spirit" award goes to fellow DJ Elite for overshooting his 35 minute driving directions by 2 hours and somehow ending up in Park Heights instead of the Top Floor. Preparations for January's Hondance are being made as we speak and we hope to see you there.

In other news, Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad's "Hugburn" album was reviewed in August's Music Monthly here in Baltimore, so be sure to pick an issue up on the next trip to your music store. Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad will be performing THIS FRIDAY NIGHT, August 12th @ the Charm City Art Space along with local acts Diacritical and South Carey.

Also, last but not least, NEW CHUNKS!!!

-Mike
